Fizzgig!

So in between job arrangements with the recruiter I had a chance to re-watch The Dark Crystal. I haven't seen it in quite some time and despite the age it holds up pretty well.
One thing that always amazes me with such films is how beautiful they are. I mean there was CGI for some of the movies in the 80's but for the most part fantasy films like this one had large sets and well detailed props. I miss that in movies. While CGI becomes more and more detailed something else seems to be missing.
Regardless even at this age the movie still invokes a sense of wonder in me. :-) Do you they still sell Fizzgig puppets? No cash to buy one but it's certainly added to my Amazon wish list. *grin*
