Picked up my enameling kiln today!
After many delays on both sides I managed to get together with Mashblock and swap an unknown rack mount amplifier for the kiln. I think the trade went well enough. ;-)

According to what I can find on the web this kiln is a Fire*Brite Copper Kiln and maxes out at around 1600 degrees. With some inserts I can easily make it more efficient. Even if it only goes to about 1200 or so I can still do copper PMC in it along with the enameling the firing times would just be longer.
AND there are _two_ of those baskets of powders.

no subject
They don't seem to make purple super-duper-glow. I wonder what happens when you mix red-orange with blue? (Although the red-orange is described as being much weaker than the other colors.) Looks like fun stuff to experiment with!
