So we’re going to have some money coming in here from another source and that will help cement our vacation later this year. It’s also going to buy more rain barrels for the house, the right jets for the carbs on my bike, and whatever my wife wants to spend her share on. Oh and fence posts for the garden fence.

Beyond that the rest can stay in one place as far as I’m concerned. Likely if we don’t spend it I’ll put some of it back into the credit union account.

The temps seem to be staying above freezing at night lately - at least in our local area - so I should be able to start work on the fence pretty soon. I also am seeing ads for tomato plants on the TV so I might be able to get a young plant to give to my SIL when doing Plants 101 at the house. I still need to pick up a heat gun for that.

No sign of the seedlings sprouting yet. I need to set up some sort of auto-watering for them. I forgot to water them last night. There should still be enough moisture in the soil that they aren’t hurting. I’ll water them when I get home.

Lots of leaves left to rake up from last year. I hope it dries out here over the next couple of weeks so we can get those picked up. Not sure when the spring yard waste pickup is but we already have the bags for it. (Have to buy stickers _in addition_ to the bags...grumble...grumble...) If those leaves don’t go into bags then I don’t know where they’re going to go as I don’t have a spot for compost yet and won’t with the garden expansion.

Thinking about having a friend of ours bring over one of the yard rollers that flattens the yard out. It’s more than a little bumpy and flattening it would probably be a good thing. I don’t think the hitch point on my tractor will pull it though because those are so heavy but I may be wrong.

Gone like the fiscal responsibility of the last eight years but back to work like the current administration...

Yeah I already reported him. Thanks though! :-)

One of his posts in the Girl Genius community has already been deleted.

Any other communities you know of that he's hit besides boostle?

At a guess all the communities he's listed as having posting access to.
(I'm the gg mod, deleted that one and went back to moderated membership for a bit!)

Tree leaves

Till the leaves back into the garden as soon as the ground is ready, it will compost them and improve the tilth in the new expansion area. Can you run over them with the lawn mower a couple of times before you do the garden? It will cut the leaves into smaller pieces and they will decompose easier. Love Mom

Re: Tree leaves

Yeah I thought of that too. I'll have to time it all so I collect them when I'm tilling the garden up which likely won't happen for another month. Fence first.
